From Sheopur to Delhi: Dreams turned Reality

Coming from a small town like Sheopur, I always kept my dreams high. One of the major reasons, I could dream of everything and anything, has always been my family. From the support to their guidance, they are the ones who have given me the wings to fly.

I was a good student all my school life and I knew, I was meant for something greater. I heard about University of Delhi and eventually, made it my destination for higher education. My parents always had the trust in me and they encouraged me that I could do anything u wanted and they always were the pillars behind my bold decision to be in Delhi.

Before joining the university, I had always expected it to be the best of all (which it is) and where I would learn and grow. Although I faced several obstacles in my first semester of college, but these all obstacles were made possible to overcome because of the best of the best people who entered in my life and my heart all at once, whom I met in college by circumstance and now they all are the ones, I can't imagine my life without. They made my journey the most beautiful one. With them everything seems to fall in the right place.

The university has totally impacted me. I have seen myself grow and learn and also to stress a little bit less.

Transitioning from my school life to college life was tough, but I learned and adapted to the change. I am still learning from the people around me and from the situations I face everyday. I feel blessed to be in this university and even more grateful for the people or I say my people who feel home to me and this feeling has grown and will grow each day.

I am very grateful that I got this opportunity through Humanity@2047 platform to express my views and share my experience. I hope this helps the new people dreaming to embrace this journey. I wish they embark on their journey with all the positivity.
